GOOD Based on 42 reviews Posted on A TeamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best service ever- the entire team was there to make my holiday one of the best ever- including getting my boots cleaned to perfection after trekking gorillas! Great healthy food- and always served with a smile.Posted on Tanya WTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This lodge has everything a traveler could want: comfortable beds, excellent water pressure (and hot water), unbeatable WiFi across the property, and delicious food. That extra thing they offer, though, is the service. We felt like kings and queens!! The kindliness and care provided by Francis, Winnie and the entire team was outstanding. I cannot imagine a more luxurious “home” to return to after an exciting day of animal trekking!!!Posted on ChristianTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you Francis, Winnie and Jocelyn for looking after us so well. We had an amazing time. This is a beautiful lodge with wonderful people looking after it. The chef’s food was delicious too.Posted on Angy KnillTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve just finished our stay at Amarembo and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. It’s hard to believe it doesn’t have 5 stars on here. The hotel is beautiful, with lush gardens and a lovely pool. It’s well designed for rain and sun, with nice little covered areas outside and an outdoor fire pit that we loved. The food was delicious. Most of all I need to call out the amazing service - especially from Winny and Francis, and Jocelyn. We were upgraded from a standard room on arrival and they did everything they could to make our stay really special… including getting up to see us off at 4.30am in the morning and then, when our car battery was dead, Francis personally drove us to the border with Uganda, helped fast track us through passport control, and secured us a taxi on the Ugandan side so we still made our morning gorilla trek. Truly heroic!Posted on philippe rayeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I never leave reviews but I feel compelled to post one for Amarembo because I'm shocked that they don't have many more glowing reviews. The hospitality was incredible. All of the staff, especially Jocelyn, Francis, and Winny, were super friendly and attentive and made our stay an amazing experience. The property is beautiful, from the amazing hut decorations to the meticulously landscaped gardens to the lovely pool -- and all of the food we tried at the restaurant was delicious, with a good variety on the menu for different food preferences. The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay: they prepared us for our gorilla trek with specialized gaiters and raincoats in case we needed them, they brought us fruit smoothies when we returned, and they even had our hiking boots cleaned! They also organized a performance of the traditional local music and dance, which was amazing to see. We were there for 2 days and wished we could stay for longer. I really hope to come back someday!Posted on Ramadhan BridgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The experience exceeded my expectations. The staff treated me with the utmost kindness, and the food was simply delightful. Will definitely be returning!
